ABOUT OUR MINISTRY
For His Glory is designed for both children and adults, ages 5+ with developmental disabilities or autism. These classes provide students with fellowship and the Word of God.
For His Glory is not actively meeting at this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but our resource room is available to parents who need a place for their child to go during service. During this time, we would also like to offer a weekly devotion to encourage all of our families during this time! Check it out below!
We are proud to have a loving and dedicated ministry team, which is either certified and/or experienced in teaching special education. It is a privilege to teach children and adults with special needs a Biblical based ciririculum which inspires spiritual growth and character development. We believe in our ministry of evangelism and edification through our teachings.
Our Purpose is to create a safe, fun and welcoming environment for each family. This ministry allows families to attend church services while at the same time, their special needs family member is building friendships with other believers.
But that the works of God might be displayed in Him. - John 9:3

From Anxiety to Peace
Let us therefore Come boldly unto the throne of grace,
That we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
Hebrews 14:16, KJV
One day I was processing some worries with a friend. As I talked about my biggest fears, I silently hoped she would reassure me that these things probably would never happen. However, she responded with something that proved more powerful and lasting. She said, I have seen you face a lot of challenges and have seen God give you strength through many trials. I trust that if this does turn out to be what you most fear, God will do the same. You would get through it by His amazing strength and power, not yours. Yes, God had given me and my husband strength to raise our son, who was born with down syndrome, to become a wonderful God fearing young man who tells his co-workers about Jesus. And when my biggest fear did turn out to be Leukemia, God did get me through it by His amazing strength and power.
Matthew 6:34 tells us, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” This verse is about not worrying. Jesus specifically says not to worry about future things. Sufficient for today are today’s concerns. Likewise, Hebrews 14:16 says that God will give us grace and help IN OUR TIME OF Need.
When I enter the arena of anxiety about a possible issue, it’s as if I’m going into battle alone against that issue, however, His strength and power is available to us AS WE NEED IT. I have seen Him provide peace, strength, and help so many times in my life when I needed it.
His word does not promise strength and help BEFORE we need it. I might be facing the news of a bad diagnosis, such as covid and all of the health challenges that come along with it, but until I am actually facing it, I do not have His strength and help for this particular issue or crisis. This reminder has helped me relinquish fears and trust that no matter what happens, He is might to save.
Dear God: Thank you that you are our strength and you are always on time. Your word tells us that you know our request before we even speak it. Help us to remember that you are our strength and in you we can obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. In Jesus name, amen.
